Financial Aid Deadlines

You may NOT send in your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) until after January 1 previous to the school year in which you are enrolling in college. 

You MUST submit the FAFSA before May 1st to receive PA state aid.  Do not miss this deadline!

SO SUBMIT THE FAFSA BETWEEN JANUARY 1ST AND MAY 1ST OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL!

Each school has a deadline by which they want you to send in the FAFSA in order to get campus based aid. Make sure you check with the college either on their web site or with their on campus financial aid office for their specific deadline.  It might be way before the May 1st deadline! 

Obtain the financial aid submission deadline at each campus you are thinking about attending and get the FAFSA in before that date.
